Finally an update on the 2002 season which was a great sailing season. After making the boat ready in Turkey it was finally time to say goodbye to this wonderful country. On to the southern Aegean stopping at both famous and unheard of islands sailing West toward the Greek mainland and Athens. After a great time sightseeing we cut through the heart of the country via the Corinth Canal and Gulf's of Corinth and Patras. We stopped at Delphi, one of the most spectacular and historic sites in Greece, and the postcard perfect harbor of Navpaktos. Continuing the journey to the West coast of Greece and Ionian Sea, we visited Ithaca, home of Odysseus, Skorpios, home of Aristotle and Jackie O. and, of course, Corfu.
